This EULA describes the license for AI Media Toolkit and other PEWIT Labs WordPress plugins.
1. GPL software
The PHP code of our WordPress plugins is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL). You are free to use, modify and redistribute the PHP code under the GPL. A copy of the GPL ships with the plugin.
2. What your purchase actually buys
Your paid plan is not a restriction on the GPL code. It grants you, for the subscription term:
- access to automatic updates of the premium version,
- premium features enabled by your license,
- support at the level of your plan,
- optionally, access to managed AI credits / AIMT Cloud services.
3. License scope per plan
- Pro: activate the premium version on one (1) production site.
- Agency: activate on unlimited sites you manage, and use white-label features.
- License activations are tracked by Freemius. You may deactivate a site to free an activation.
4. Non-GPL assets
Trademarks, the "PEWIT Labs" and "AI Media Toolkit" names, logos, graphics, written content, and the managed AI/AIMT Cloud service are not covered by the GPL and remain our property (or our licensors'). Agency white-label lets you replace our branding in the admin/reports for your clients, but does not transfer ownership of our marks.
5. Restrictions
You must not: resell or publicly redistribute license keys; misrepresent the origin of the software; remove security/licensing mechanisms with the intent to obtain premium services without a valid license; or use managed AI credits in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Termination
If your subscription lapses, you keep the GPL code already installed, but lose access to updates, premium support and managed services. Serious breaches (e.g. key reselling, abuse) may result in termination of services and licenses.
7. Disclaimer
Provided "as is" under the GPL and our Terms (/legal/terms), without warranty to the extent permitted by law.
